Introduction
Behavior-Based Safety has evolved over the years. This workshop will discuss what BBS is and what it is not. Strategies for best practices and practical application of BBS in the workplace will be described and illustrated with case studies. Topics include handling barriers to successful BBS implementation, developing safety coaching observation and feedback skills, leadership roles in effective BBS, selecting measurement priorities for BBS, and sustaining the process over time. The workshop is designed to be interactive with meaningful activities, analysis of relevant case studies, and practical application of the concepts covered.
