HABC Level 2 International Award in Work at Height

Program Objectives

			
																			    By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
•	Understand requirements for the use of work at height equipment
•	Know how to correctly select and use work at height equipment safely
•	Understand correct techniques to be used when using Work at Height (WAH) Equipment
•	Be able to use work at height equipment safely and effectively
•	Understand emergency preparedness and rescue provision,
•	Understand the implications of suspension trauma and the importance of rescue provision,
•	Use of self-relief technique during harness suspension trauma situations,
•	Harness inspection and fitness,
•	Demonstrate casualty management and the application of temporary aids,
•	Using of Rescue Kit,


																		

Program Contents

																			These include the requirements for the use of equipment, correctly selecting and using equipment safely, and correct techniques when using the equipment. Harness inspection and fitness, casualty management and the application of temporary aids and using of Rescue Kit, 
																		

Assessment and Certification

																			This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning.

After successful completion of the course participant will receive a certificate from Highfield for Working at hight and a certificate from Al Mashreq Training for Working at Hight rescue.
																		

Target Audience

																			This qualification has been developed for those working in any environment who will have a job role involving work at height activities. Workers who will be part of a first response rescue team, This course is ideal for construction workers, scaffolders, and facilities maintenance engineers
																		

Entry Requirements
