Integrated Safety Management System- Facilitator : Adrian Gannon

Introduction

This programme has been developed for all employers and employees involved in management systems and operational excellence, in particular those that use an integrated approach. The workshop uses the content and principles of ISO standards to illustrate the core elements of management systems and where integration can be applied.

The workshop is designed to provide a practical approach (using sample management systems) to the process of developing management systems compliant with international standards and further developing integrated management systems. A key part of the workshop is a discussion of recent / imminent developments with international standards and in particular ISO 31000: 2009 – Risk Management, and ISO 45000 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System, which will replace the need for OHSAS 18000.

Program Objectives

•	Discuss key differences between OHSAS 18000 and the imminent ISO 45000
•	Analyse elements of separate management systems and identify areas that can be integrated
